Rice with Jjajang (Jjajang bap, 짜장밥)

Today I'm going to make Jjajang bap!

Have you heard about Jjajang😮😮?

Korean usually have Jjajang with noodles, 짜장면(Jjajang myeon), or rice, 짜장밥 (Jjajang bap). It’s very famous Korean-style Chinese dishes topped with a thick sauce made of chunjang, ‘black soybean paste’, diced pork, and vegetables.

Especially although the name Jjajangmyeon is cognate with the Chinese dish zhájiàngmiàn (炸酱面), Korean Jajangmyeon differs in many ways. Korean Jjajang is darker and sweeter. 😊

Jjajangmyeon is a very popular Korean food. I guess…Jjajangmyeon would be in the top fifth of delivery food in Korea.👍👍👍

Homemade Jjajnang that I'm going to make today really goes well with rice. So I'd like to share the recipe with you.

👉YOU WILL NEED(for 2 servings):
2 peeled potatoes
4~5 sheets of cabbage (Approx.2 cups when It’s cut)
1 onion
1 stalk of green onion (white part)
Pork 200g / 0.4lb
Chunjang 5 tbsp
Oligosaccharide 2 tbsp
Oyster sauce 1 tbsp
Water 300 ml
cooking oil
Potato starch 1 tbsp + Water 3tbsp
1 Egg
1/4 Cucumber
