Have you ever made a trade wishing you had better information. Do you look at large volume on up days to be all buying? It typically isn't all buying or selling. Traders are either buying as price moves up or down. More upside buying or volume may mean more bullish conviction. More downside buying or volume may be a less bullish conviction or even bearish conviction. In this webcast we look at indicators that measure up volume and down volume and calculate the percentage of each. We then compare that to the magnitude of the price movement. We also include a thinkorswim scan to help find possible stock candidates.
