Nirvana: 5 Facts From Nirvana's 1989 European Tour with TAD

In the fall of 1989, Nirvana and TAD embarked on a 42-day 37-show European tour. Both bands were signed to Sub Pop Records at the time, the label which arranged the tour. With the released on Nirvana's debut record Bleach on June 15th 1989, Nirvana had begun to build a following in Europe by this point, although not a huge following just yet. Nirvana's lineup at the time consisted of Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Chad Channing. TAD's lineup at the time consisted of Tad Doyle, Gary Thorstensen, Kurt Danielson and Steve Wied. In this video, I'm going to look at 5 interesting facts from this 1989 European tour. The tour was named Heavier Than Heaven.
