Tom Silva recently taught host Kevin O’Connor how to build a screen door from 5/4 stock that’s readily available.

The door, which will be hung in an upcoming episode of ASK TOH, measures 42” x 92”. Because of the door’s size, Tom developed a method of joinery that will resist warping, twisting, and sagging. He also taught Kevin several tricks-of-the-trade.
