Sparrowhawk and Collared Dove (please read description before commenting)

The hawk is Accipter nisus. In the UK it is commonly called the Eurasian Sparrowhawk or just Sparrowhawk. In the US you may have a different common name.
If you are outraged by this footage please consider the following:
1. The dove did escape
2. Have you ever seen a wildlife programme on the TV where a predator hunts and kills its prey? If so, did you write to the broadcaster to voice your anger (I would like to hear their reply with your comment)? If not, why not (when you think it is ok to comment on my video)?
3. Do you own a cat or know any who owns a cat and lets them wander? Cats kill thousands of small mammals and birds and, usually, DO NOT EAT THEM. Did you confront the owner and ask why they haven't done anything? If so please enclose their reply with your comment. If not, why not (when you think it is ok to comment on my video)?

Now I've got that off my chest...
Sparrowhawk and captured Collared Dove (not for the squeamish). These two smacked into our patio window this afternoon - luckily I had my camera close by. The name "Sparrowhawk" is a bit misleading as a female like this can take birds up to the size of a Wood Pigeon! The Dove was not killed - as I moved the Sparrowhawk flew off and the Dove flew into the hedge by the window. Then our cat almost appeared and almost caught it but finally it manged to fly off... lucky escape!
