Night of the Living Dead Filming Locations | 53 Years Later

Today we are outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to visit Evans City Cemetery and the surrounding areas, which served as filming locations of the George Romero classic Night of the Living Dead. The 1968 horror film is the quintessential zombie movie and we are going to locate everything we can from it. We also visit the most iconic Dawn of the Dead (1978) filming locations - the Monroeville mall, also in the Pittsburgh area. It's amazing to see how even though much as changed over the years, the mall has many identifiable features that are still there today. Also located inside the Dawn of the Dead mall is a George Romero bust and the Living Dead Museum & Gift Shop. Any fan of George Romero would be delighted to check out the Monroeville Mall or Evans City Cemetery.
