The Cash App vs Acorns | Best investing Apps

So the cash app just launched a new investment app, and yes I did make a full video reviewing it, however, a lot of people are asking me about the cash app vs the Acorn app and which is better.

Now the first thing I want to say is guys I’ve been using the cash app for a little over 3 years now, and the acorns app for the past year now. SO this is a fully non-bias review. So I’ll give you the pros and cons of each platform.

Now if you ask me

- I like keeping things simple and I believe and know that consistency wins the game in the long term. So I literally just deposit 500 into acorn every single month and I plan to keep doing that and increasing the amount every year for the next 20-40 years.

The cash Investing app vs acorns

This entire thing reminds of people that have crazy arguments about androids and iPhones but in the end, you can do everything you need and each device it's more about the experience and the service that makes each device or company better.

Acorn Investment app Pros:
- $1 fixed monthly fee
- Balanced portfolio According to your goals
- Roundups
- Fractional Shares
- No trading fees
- Found money
- Customer service both by Chat and Phone
- retirement fund

What I don’t like About Acorn :
- Borrow on margins
- Let me put money into the ETF I want
- Let me be able to sell what I want
- Management fees once I hit 1m, just remove them and charge me a fix $ fee

What I like about the Cash app investing:
- Fractional shares
- Instant trades no windows ( not even the big dogs, like m1 offer that or Robinhood)
- 100% free currently, since they already monetize by having people use the app
- Very easy to use platform
-
What I don’t like about the Cash app investing
- No recurring investment yet
- No reinvesting dividend
- No on the phone customer service
- And the customer service you do get, just answer with bot-like responses, like I didn’t just read that on F&Q
- They have an investment limit per week accounting to how much money they allow you to deposit
- No day trading ( but that okay, this is a long term platform)
Final thoughts: Currently the cash app is free and it does make trade instantly. But they lack options,
- Although I don’t care options personally, people that will use this app will
- So I’ll stick to acorn for now, especially since Acorn has exactly I need and my plan of consistency and patience has earned me an extra 21% on my money.
