Chavis von Bradford - Deeptech

The ideas, feelings, and sensations I had while dreaming about the early 1990s inspired me to create this music.

According to neuroimaging research by Hongyi Zhao, Dandan Li, and Xiuzhen Li, dreaming and memory consolidation are interrelated.

DALL-E, a machine learning model created by OpenAI to generate digital images from natural language descriptions, was fed visual memories about my dreams, thoughts, images, and sensations in my childhood home at night.

DALL-E uses a version of GPT-3 modified to generate images. Then I used FL Studio, a Yamaha M06 synthesizer, Rob Papen's GO2 synthesizer, FM Synthesizers, random low frequency oscillators, filters, ADSR, and morphological synthesis, in addition to a variety of sample packs, to sonically replicate the abysmal darkness of the room dimly lit by blue streetlights and the lavender and periwinkle waves and visual noise superimposed over my vision.
