AgriTech MVP: Parcel Scoring Tool with Real Data (NDVI + API + Satellite Data)

In this video, I’m building an AgriTech SaaS from scratch using Satellite Data, NDVI analysis, and a simple API-based architecture.

The idea is to create a farm monitoring and scoring system that can take a land parcel, fetch real-world data, and return a risk score with actionable insights. This MVP combines NDVI + API, weather data, and geospatial processing to simulate how a real agri data platform could work.

This is a real build in public experiment. No theory — just code, APIs, and real constraints.

I started with a simple roadmap and ended up with a working MVP that uses:

Sentinel satellite data for NDVI analysis
Open-Meteo for weather data
PostGIS for land parcel storage
Python for data processing
PHP for API delivery

Along the way, I ran into real-world limitations:

restricted access to Ukrainian land registries
integration complexity with satellite APIs
the gap between “nice dashboard” and real product value

So I pivoted to a European dataset (Estonia), and it worked.
Now the system can import a real parcel, calculate a score, and explain what’s happening on that land.

This video is not just about agritech.

It’s about how to:
