Charlotte & Nicolas - Young Stage International Circus Festival - Hand to Hand Act - Wicked Game

New act presented at the world famous Young Stage International Circus Festival in Basel, Switzerland 2015.

Coached by Jerome LeBaut, former Cirque du Soleil performer in Saltimbanco and Quidam, Charlotte O'Sullivan and Nicolas Jelmoni, both graduates from the prestigious National Circus School in Montreal created this brand new contemporary hand to hand act for this festival.

Inspired by several kinds of partner dancing, they researched, improved and developed their own vocabulary and quality of movement to create this one-of-a-kind piece combining strengh, flexibility, grace, technique and elegance.

Thanks to this number they won an engagement at the Casino Theater Winterthur "Stille Kracht" where they will be performing from mid-November to mid-December 2015.

Since their graduation in 2014 from l'École nationale de cirque, one of the most famous circus school in the world located in Montreal, Canada, Charlotte and Nicolas have been constantly working and touring with some of the most renowned circus companies. They had the opportunity to spend several months in New York City in the Tony Award winning Broadway revival of "Pippin the Musical" directed by Diane Paulus and choreographed by Chet Walker and Gypsy Snider from the 7 Fingers. After closing the show in NYC they joined the First National Tour of the same shows before joining the latest Cirque Éloize show "Cirkopolis". They are currently performing all summer in a French adaptation of "Grease the Musical" directed by Andrew Shaver.
