Cannonball Moments

This year marks the 500 year anniversary of St. Ignatius Loyola's fateful injury: being struck by a cannonball during the Battle of Pamplona. It was the beginning of his epic conversion story, one that has captivated people for centuries. Often we might find ourselves wishing for a similar experience in our own lives. Eric Nichols, Director of Youth Ministry at the Jesuit Spiritual Center at Milford, offers a reflection on his own "Cannonball Moment", and invites us to consider how God might be working through our own experiences of suffering.
