The Turing Test Doesn't Work Anymore.

In 1950, Alan Turing proposed a simple game to answer one of humanity's most complex questions: "Can machines think?". Can a computer fool a human into believing it is another human? Decades later, Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT and Claude are passing it every single day. But does mimicking human conversation actually mean true consciousness, or are we just being fooled by the Imitation Game?

This video will go through the origins of the Turing Test, the early ELIZA, the Chinese Room argument and how (or if) the Turing Test works today.
