1) When you have a flexible item build, think about what your team needs that only you can buy
2) HOW TO PLAY AGAINST TECHIES. Break the Techies Cycle. Pre-empt the cycle by taking towers before he gets to the lane. If he has already mined up, break the cycle by bringing lots of sentries/gem to de-ward a chunk of the map and then keep playing there.
