Whaley Bridge dam wall structural integrity at "critical level"

Derbyshire Police says emergency services have managed to lower the water level of Toddbrook reservoir by a half a metre but the structural integrity of the dam remains critical.

He added that plans will be put in place to allow residents to return to Whaley Bridge for a short time to pick up vital belongings.
