Bear Encounter on the String Lake Trail in Grand Teton National Park

In July 2020, I was hiking alone on the String Lake Trail in Grand Teton NP after it had rained most of the day. The bear crossed the trail in front of me (GoPro footage), then meandered through the forest to my right toward me along the trail (phone video), and walked away as I backed up from my original spot and spoke to the hikers approaching from the other direction (GoPro footage). It didn't seem to notice me and was about 20 feet from me and the trail.

Note: I know the video quality kind of sucks, especially at the beginning. I zoomed in on my GoPro video (which was on my backpack strap - I wasn't expecting to see a bear, I just like to record my hikes) so the bear is visible, and I also know that I wasn't very creative or bold in my reaction. I was scared sh**less. I don't monetize my YouTube channel, so this is just for the sake of sharing my real experience.
