What does the Bible say about Armageddon?

The future kingdom ruled by Jesus Christ is not in heaven but on earth. The Battle of Armageddon occurs when Christ returns on his white horse along with his armies to conquer all those who are against him. This bloody battle occurs north of Jerusalem and start off the events that set up the Messianic Kingdom.
