Jody Freeman is the Archibald Cox Professor of Law and the founding director of the Harvard Law School Environmental and Energy Law Program. She served in the White House as Counselor for Energy and Climate Change in 2009-10. Freeman served as an independent consultant to the President's bipartisan Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and is an independent director of ConocoPhillips, where she serves on the executive and director’s affairs committees, and chairs the public policy committee.
