Russia: Putin uses his German skills to step in as translator

Russian President Vladimir Putin stepped in as a translator for former State Secretary of the West German Defence Ministry, Willy Wimmer, during the 3rd Media Forum of Independent Regional and Local Media in St. Petersburg, Thursday.

And I have a suggestion: if something is being created, I certainly want to participate in it. It is not enough for me [without this]. The question is what is our national idea? We have it inside, we have it in our heart, love for our homeland."
