Drum cover of She's A Rainbow from The Rolling Stones and the album Their Satanic Majesty's Request.

Their Satanic Majesties Request is the sixth British and eighth American studio album by The Rolling Stones, released on 8 December 1967 by Decca Records in the United Kingdom and the following day in the United States by London Records. Its title is a play on the "Her Britannic Majesty requests and requires..." text that appears inside a British passport.

John Paul Jones, later of Led Zeppelin, arranged the strings of this song during his session days. Backing vocals were by Jagger and Richards.

The lyrics in the chorus share the phrase "she comes in colours" with the song of that title by Love, released in December 1966.

The Stones were always following The Beatles, whether they liked it or not, they had to go along with whatever new and innovative trend in music The Beatles were pioneering. After the release of Sgt Pepper, the Stones put out there version.

Video includes footage of my London trip in '09. Prince William showed up at The Tower of London while we were touring it (1:26). There's a shot of a white apartment/flat, 30 Montagu Square, WI, this is the place Ringo Starr leased in 1965. Paul McCartney used it for a recording studio in 1966. Jimi Hendrix lived there for a while in 1967, as did John Lennon's mother-in-law, Lilian Powell. John & Yoko lived there too in 1968 and was the site of the infamous Two Virgins album cover photo.

# 1 of 7 covers recorded in one afternoon session on Sept 17, 2012.

Triggering a ADpak-Retro kit from Addictive Drums.
