Women Turn to eCommerce in Pandemic

Research shows that not only were women unequally represented in many of the business sectors most negatively impacted by the pandemic, but they’ve also taken on more of the household burdens that came with remote-school, remote-work, childcare disruptions, and other hardships.

However, while the gender gap in the workforce may have increased again, the reverse is occurring on online platforms. An increased number of women have been turning to eCommerce to help ease some of the financial strain of the pandemic. Joining Host Nicole DeCosta to talk about this is military veteran and owner of the eBay store Colorado Re*Worn, Liz O’Kane.
