Protecting Bali’s Dogs: A Community-Led Journey of Hope

In 2017 Animals Australia uncovered the cruel reality of Bali’s widespread yet largely hidden dog meat trade. A locally-led collaboration ensued that has seen businesses transformed, historic laws passed that prohibit the sale and distribution of dog meat, and the establishment of a truly Indonesian animal welfare organisation, Sintesia Animalia Indonesia.
