For the past few months, I've been working as hard as I can to make YouTube a full time gig for myself. I've had a ton of support and love from my parents, friends, and a few sponsors, but I'm a bit bothered by an anti-monetization sentiment too many people seem to have.

What's the harm in YouTubers making money? Why do they accept brand deals and sell merch? And what can you do to be a better audience member and supporter?

Oh boy this is an old school rant.
