I’m an acquisition and business strategist, with 31 years of business experience (since age 19) and multi-million-pound exits with the sale of The Coaching Academy UK Ltd in 2007 and The Marketing Guild in 2017.

However, I first sold a business in 1999 (Achievement UK) and first bought a business in 2005 (CMI International). These early experiences shaped the way I think about business, forever!

Currently, I’m growing another group via acquisition in the childcare sector (Welcome Nurseries) and have made over 50 deals since June 2019, becoming the 4th largest nursery group in the UK.

In 2016 I hosted a group of 10 ambitious business people, meeting in Putney, London who wanted to grow by acquisition and subsequently started providing a consultancy service in the UK to assist people who want to buy a business successfully – this is now a worldwide training company.

I share my experience of both buying and successfully selling plus ‘in the trenches’ experiences of someone who is actively buying businesses during the pandemic.
