Somewhere in the middle of North Atlantic on the night of Halloween 1943 the American destroyer USS Borie was in a determined search for German U-boats in rough seas. The German U-boat U-405 was patrolling in the area. During her two year career never she had never lost a single man on combat patrols but at 2 AM November 1st USS Borie acquired radar contact. It was the start of an epic battle where there could be only one winner.
