Alicante is a beautiful city just a 2 hours train ride south of Valencia! We start off in Alicante - old town, also referred to as El Barrio de Santa Cruz, or just The Barrio. This area is known for its whitewashed houses, hidden alley ways, winding streets and cool tapas bars.

From this viewpoint you get an amazing view of the city and the Santa Barbara Castle. We stop into a tapas bar and have a beer as we bake like dried sardines in the Spanish sun.

We hit up the Central Market and pick up some fresh sushi that comes straight from the fishmongers!

We then explore more of the city, including the famous Mushroom Street, the marina, beach and more!

Of course, we stop along the way to get some tapas, beers, and a gin tonic! Our final stop is the Alicante Brewery where we enjoy a freshly made brewski.
