Why Should We Hire You | Best Answer | What Recruiters Look For
With former CEO. In this video, I answer the job interview question "Why Should We Hire You?"
This is the best way I've ever seen to answer this question. Example and a sample answer. I also put this question in context and explain what recruiters are looking for.

There are many forms of this question:
Why should we hire you?
Why do you want to work here?
Why do you want to work for us?
Why do you want to work at our company?
Why do you want to work for us?
What makes you the best candidate?
Why do you want to join our company?
Why do you want this job?
I discuss how recruiters only really care about whether you meet the job requirements, and the difference between recruiters and hiring managers. Also, the need to do preparation and correctly prepare for your job interview, such as printing out the job description or job posting and annotating and highlighting it.
In my experience, being on both sides of interviews, using this best answer to "why should we hire you?" (or why should *I* hire you?) (with this example and sample) can avoid disasters and pitfalls during job interviews such as lack of flow, and the greatest flaw of all, which is not communicating your value to hiring managers, or communicating to recruiters how you meet all the posted job requirements.
I put this question in the larger context and explain what recruiters are looking for.
- What to do if you don’t meet the requirements?
- Is a paper job description in front of you OK?
- Proposed answer: Why shouldn’t you hire me? (Company vetting)
- Proposed answer: Because I don’t want to starve.
- Can I keep repeating my answer if they ask multiples of the same questions?
