As soon as we we arrived in Serbia, I got floored with the man flu so we had to get a hotel for a few days to give my body some rest.  Once I felt better again, we started heading for a gorgeous wee camping spot we found online but we had to change our plans very quickly. While we were driving, something at the side of the road caught my eye and when I stopped and got out I found this gorgeous wee puppy. It was obvious that it was hurt (initially i thought it had been run over) and I knew I had to get it to the vet asap. We put a story up on instagram to see if there was anyone followers who could help us out. By chance, the person who translated our book into Serbian saw our story, reached out to us and helped us translate at the vets. The vlog took place over a couple of days, and what a roller coaster that short period of time was. But the puppy, which we named Yasuki, got the best care and help we could have hoped for ❤️.
Currently we are still in Serbia, helping Yasuki get back on her feet, quite literally actually, and with everything going on with her and the lack of good wifi it's a bit difficult at times to get vlogs out but if you're can't wait head over to our Instagram to see how she's doing 🥰

We’re Dean & Nala, and we’ve been best friends since December 2018. I was cycling around the world when I heard Nala meowing out for me somewhere in the Bosnian mountains. With no intentions of keeping Nala, I knew i had to save the wee kitten and take her to the vet - but I was well aware of the fact that it might be a bit of a challenge considering I only had a bike. However, despite my concerns, Nala quickly climbed out of the front bag on the bike handle and straight onto my shoulder. Since then, we’ve been travelling the world together.
