HOW TO LET YOURSELF GO & BECOME FREE

This is a first for me. Letting myself be seen like this is most definitely me stepping out of my comfort zone. Exposing myself has been a fear of mine since a sexual assault when I was young. I never allowed myself to express through my body in the fear that people will think I'm giving myself away or giving them permission to have a piece of me. It has been years of a roller coaster and almost 20 years later I'm ready to finally let go of this fear of mine.

Throughout the years I have stopped myself from doing things I have always wanted to do because of the assault. Learning to dance and expressing myself through flow of my body is something I have always longed for. Yet I now see I have been the one who has always stopped myself from embracing this. No longer will I hold myself back.

I'm not perfect, nor do I aim to be. I do aim however to step into my fears and overcome what contrast has come my way, ultimately this is for my own growth but I share it in this way in the hope that long term as these videos continue and my story unfolds before you all that some of you may be inspired to overcome your own fears. Contrast will always come. It is what we do with it that ultimately will define us.

Be gentle with me, for a lot of you call me confident and strong, yes I am but I also have my weaknesses, this is one of them. I appreciate you all and thank you for being apart of this journey of mine.
