Being an Internet Marketer since 2007 has exposed me to a lot of different email autoresponders. Some good and some bad. I have finally decided to make a full-time switch over to ConvertKit as this is the email autoresponder that truly stands out from the competition. ConvertKit is already known for being the best email autoresponder for bloggers/creators, but it is also starting to gain more popularity for businesses in general. It was a no-brainer to make this switch for me as you’ll see in this ConvertKit review, but I wish I had done it sooner. I truly love their services and ConvertKit is a big contributor to both my blog and business growth.

CONVERTKIT REVIEW - PRICING & FEATURES

In this ConvertKit Review, I go over the exact pricing and features of this email marketing software that makes it stand WAY out from the competition.

1.) Affordable Pricing Plans (2:36)

ConvertKit is priced competitively and in fact is much more affordable than so many leading email autoresponders out there. They offer a free 14 day trial for you to test their services and they also just released an additional “Freemium” plan for users to really get familiar with ConvertKit before purchasing (read my blog article the link above to learn more). If you do want to become a paid member, the amounts you can expect to pay are below depending on your list size:

$29/month for up to 1,000 subscribers
$49/month for up to 3,000 subscribers
$79/month for up to 5,000 subscribers
Over 5,000 subscribers is calculated

2.) Simple & Enjoyable to Use (5:50)

I’ve used lots of email autoresponders in the past and so many of them are incredibly confusing to operate. It can be discouraging and overwhelming logging into your email platform and not having the slightest idea where to begin. This is the case with tons of autoresponders out there (and even some of the leading ones). With ConvertKit, it’s laid out beautifully and you really feel comfortable from the first time you sign in. They really nailed the functionality and made it so anyone can set up their first email marketing campaign super quickly and effortlessly.

3.) Segmentation that Other Services Don’t Offer (6:46)

One of the biggest separators of ConvertKit compared to other email autoresponders is that they allow you to create custom segments for different parts of your email list. For example, if you wanted to separate buyers from non-buyers, you can with ease. They even have a “click-segmentation” feature which places people into a different list upon clicking a link within your email. This to me was a major reason why I switched to ConvertKit. Many autoresponders do not offer this level of segmentation (and some even require a third party service).

4.) Smooth Integration with WordPress (9:19)

Adding ConvertKit capture pages to your WordPress website is very straightforward. There are many plugins that are compatible with ConvertKit (they also have their own plugin). The plugin I like to use is MailMunch where all you need is your ConvertKit API key to connect the two together. You can literally have a capture page built, live on your website and connected to your ConvertKit account in 30 minutes or less.

5.) Impressive Deliverability Rates (10:15)

Clearly one of the most important areas to look into when it comes to an email autoresponder is deliverability rates. ConvertKit has performed the highest in this area also when comparing it to the other autoresponders I have used in the past. You can be assured that your emails will land in people’s inboxes and not their spam!

6.) Responsive Customer Support (11:40)

With marketing tools, you really do need a level of support if you run into any issues. Not only do you get great customer support from ConvertKit, but they go above and beyond. The first question I had sent to ConvertKit support, I received a video response back providing me with a detailed solution. To me that was incredible and makes me even more confident using their services moving forward.

7.) Affiliate Opportunity (13:14)

Last but certainly not least is the affiliate program that ConvertKit offers. If you love their services as much as I do, you will have no problem recommending them to other business owners and bloggers. They offer a 30% recurring monthly commission for every paying customer you bring in. This is an easy sell when people realize what an amazing email marketing software ConvertKit is.
