Everyone wants Israel to ‘cease and desist’: Liz Storer
Sky News host Liz Storer says “everyone” wants Israel to “cease and desist” in its conflict with Hamas despite being vilified for defending itself from terrorism.
On October 7 Israel declared war on Hamas after the Palestinian militant group fired thousands of rockets as far north as Tel Aviv.
“It is utterly ridiculous,” she told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“Israel’s the one who said ‘give us back your hostages and we’ll tools down’, Israel’s the one who’s saying ‘hey we’re about to carpet bomb this particular area, get out’.
“None of the 52 Muslim-majority countries have taken a single Gazan, none of the neighbouring also Muslim countries who were all like ‘oh free Palestine, we’re on Palestine’s side’, none of them have taken a single Gazan.”
