Come and enjoy SAHC's Robinson Rough Preserve; 248 acres of the preserved mountain homestead with private trails, a swimming pond, and a full-time caretaker to answer any questions. This hand-hewn cabin has been remodeled and renovated for your convenience and comfort! This is the peace and quiet you are looking for during this crazy time! We are spacing out all of our reservations, leaving 48 hours in between each reservation.
The space
The proceeds from your visit contribute to the future of land conservation in the mountains of Western North Carolina and East Tennessee, through the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy!

If you ever thought about "getting away from it all" this is it! Our property has walking trails throughout and two pristine creeks. The cabin is the perfect place to cozy up next to the electric "wood-burning stove" and watch a DVD in the evening and enjoy a hot chocolate while listening to the creek on the deck. This is a one bedroom (full bed) Cabin, with a loft (full Bed) and a single pull out futon. Take a bubble bath in our claw foot tub and experience pure relaxation while you listen to the creek just outside the window! The two separate decks are the perfect space for relaxing. Featuring enough sleeping space for 5 people, oversized couch, heat, and air-conditioning, and a fully stocked kitchen with all amenities needed.

This cabin is a nature immersion! There is no cell service at this house and the wifi is spotty and NOT conducive towards working from the cabin :) We have a few DVDs for evening movies but please bring your own!

Your pups are welcome to join you on your visit but there is a $70 associated fee for extra cleaning that may be needed! No motorized vehicles allowed on trial. They are walking trails.
