May 3 is observed as World Press Freedom Day every year.At present India ranks 151st among 180 countries in terms of press freedom. India Islamic Cultural Center in New Delhi organised a debate on State of Media in India where three well-known journalists, indlucing Ashutosh, editor of Satya Hindi YouTube channel, Urmilesh, a well-known writer and journalist and Siddharth Vardharajan, head of The Wire digital news platform and YouTube channel discussed the issue candidly.
