Google Earth Engine 1: Difference Between Server and Client

The Google Earth Engine is a cloud based solution for processing the immense datasets coming from remote sensing. You send requests to a server and in a matter of seconds a response is returned. This process of sending requests to a server with the Earth Engine requires additional functions on top of the JavaScript environment and that's what this video is all about.
