IS THE REGIONAL JET THAT BAD? | United ERJ-145 | DCA-EWR

Today I tested out United's ERJ-145 aircraft on a short flight from Washington Reagan Airport (KDCA) to Newark's Liberty Airport (KEWR). The ERJ and CRJ both receive a lot of hate from travelers because of the small and cramped cabin, having to gate-check bags, and other annoyances of the sort.
However, I found the ERJ to be not too bad, but then again I did have a single seat, and that was a big factor.
