Ready Player OMG What Is That?!?

To me it seems Ernest Cline's OASIS in Ready Player One was at least partially inspired by the "you can do anything, be anyone" possiblities of Second Life. Second Life is still around, and to me it's even more interesting than ever, because it's like a huge ghost town that you can explore and discover things you'd never expect.
