Strap on your headlamp—this is one dusty, echo‑filled adventure!

Season (2025): daily tours May 10 – Sept 14 (10 a.m.–4 p.m. hourly); reduced schedule Sept 15 – Oct 15 (10 a.m.–3 p.m.) – no reservations needed.
Depth: tour goes 1/3 mi (≈ 530 m) into Level 7 of the mine.
Temperature underground: ±48 °F / 9 °C year‑round – bring a jacket!
First struck gold: 1872, by German brothers Reinhard, Gustave & Otto Neigold.
Closest town: Silverton, CO (elevation 9 318 ft).
