Basic Skiing Course | ABVIMAS, Manali | How I went from falling to skiing in 14 days!

Sharing my experience of the Basic Skiing Course (also my first ever skiing experience!) at ABVIMAS, Manali. It’s one of the best institutes to learn skiing in India. Skiing is something I have wanted to learn for the longest time and I finally got to do this in January. If you are chasing that adrenaline rush too, look no further, skiing is where it’s at. I, for one, definitely fell in love with the sport!

Being on those ski slopes really made me feel alive and I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. Yes, even the parts where I fell down, actually especially those! Excited to share my 14 day adventure packed journey.…...So watch us fall (a lot), give up, get back up, ski, ski again, all day every day, for 14 days! Till we finally figure it out….

Details of the course :

👉🏼 The course is Government certified
👉🏼 My batch was from 27th January - 9th February, 2021
💲 Total cost was Rs.10,500 (including food, stay, training and equipment)
📍 Solang Valley, Himachal Pradesh (14 kms from Manali) (Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports)
