If you are interested in adopting, please know that it is a long, painful process. It is intrusive, it is difficult, and it feels insulting at times. Please also know that it is worth all the time and effort required.

Adoption is a way to turn a largely negative situation into a positive one for three parties. (Adoptive family, child, and birth parents).
