L.A. Sanitation: Odd Sounding ‘09 LNG Pete/Amrep ASL Garbage Truck

The first clip in this video was filmed back in 2016 so you can compare it to how it sounds now.

Anyways, on Tuesday I came home from work around 2 to find that no trucks had passed on my street yet. Usually when I get home, greens and recycle are still full but I was surprised to find that trash also hadn’t been touched yet. This was the truck that came for trash on Tuesday, 36995, a 2009 LNG Amrep. Now I wasn’t planning on filming anything on Tuesday besides the collections at my house but I just had to get a little bit of video of this truck doing my street. Funny enough, a little before he got to my street, I heard this truck and I was trying to figure out what kind of truck it was because of the way it sounded. To my surprise it was this truck. Now I have no idea why it sounds like this now, I feel like you can somewhat still hear the original sound from the street side view of the truck. Nonetheless, I had to get a little bit of video.
