✴️ If your email is hacked there are several steps you need to take to fix it, and prevent it from being hacked again.

If your email is hacked, here’s how you fix it:
1️⃣ Recover your account.
2️⃣ Change your password.
3️⃣ Verify and/or change your account recovery information.
4️⃣ Check your out-of-office messages, auto-responders, forwards, and signatures.
5️⃣ Check all related accounts for possible compromise.
6️⃣ Let your contacts know.
7️⃣ Start backing up.
And perhaps above all: learn from the experience so it doesn’t happen again.
