JOHNNY PEARSON - SLEEPY SHORES 1972
Known as Johnny Pearson, John Valmore Pearson (June 18, 1925-March 20, 2011) was a British composer, orchestra leader and pianist. He led the "Top of the Pops" orchestra for 16years, wrote a catalogue of library music and had many of his pieces used as the theme music to television series. He reached No. 8 on the UK chart in early 1972 with his "Sleepy Shores", the theme from the TV series "Owen, M.D." .
