Terra Nova Hut
This laser scan data of Robert Falcon Scott's hut located at Cape Evans, Antartica was laser scanned by Geometria in 2010, using a Leica 6100 laser scanner. The scanning was completed as part of the K021 program, by Daniel McCurdy and Russell Gibb.
Unlike many of our laser scan data sets, this data does not include colour information, which is why it appears as grey scale in this video. The 6100 was not equipped with a camera at the time.
Scanning took place over two days, fully utilising the 24 hour sunlight of the Antarctic summer.
