MVI 8661 - Meccano Braiding Machine #5

This braider, my fifth, was completed in 2011. It uses small Neodymium magnets to hold the spools in position as they circulate, thus doing away with the need for tracks. Eight carriers, twelve spools, Servetti Maypole system, so four-sided, ie square, braid results. Amazing, eh?!!
