SmartGlamour Round Tables - Disabled Women + Femmes - Part 3

Excited to release our final video in the SmartGlamour Video series of Round Table Discussions with Disabled Women + Femmes! We brought in 4 disabled women + femmes to chat about their disability, their bodies, how the two intersect, and also the importance of community. I think we all wish that we lived in a world where just by nature of being a human being, everyone was treated with equal respect, compassion, and thoughtfulness. Unfortunately, we know that is not the case. It is often the case that the more we know or are surrounded by a group of people - the more we fight for their rights and support them. And especially now - it is important to listen and learn from those who have different lived experiences from our own. So I hope able bodied allies listen to these incredible people and learn - and I hope disabled people feel represented in some way. For our final video, they are chatting about the importance of community, allyship, and representation. Enjoy!
