Bow Fishing Fail

During any kind of hunting it can happen so you don't even take the bow out of the bag LOL! Or get a chance at a clean shot, either way u end up having a nice walk in the bush and exercise the patience!

Went to a favorite fishing hole usually has plenty of barbel fish over 2ft long, some really big ones but now only one really big one and damn well disappeared on me. Normally, we could be standing in the water fishing all day and they just swim around ignoring lures and baits-they normally eat molluscs; are slow enough moving for the bow but not today LOL! I even climbed into a tree for abetter shot but it was just not worth the effort LOL.
There were plenty of pan sized fish but they were too small for bow fishing, maybe fishing with one of those slingshots shooting small harpoons?
