Cricut Explore Blinking Red fix

Here is the Cricut Explore Air 2 that is having a very common issue of a blinking red and white light. After trying the firmware update and several start and stop cycles I opened it up and found an easy fix to restore the machine to a working status. I thought this fix will help others facing similar issues.
