Popcorn Ceiling Repair Patch (The right way!)

In this short video, we repaired an old popcorn ceiling with the help of the Graco Texspray.

After repairing the drywall, apply a quick pass of fast setting drywall compound. Using Adfors FibaFuse Fiberglass drywall tape, skim out the patch so it is flat with the existing ceiling. Use a wet sponge to feather the edges.
While the patch is drying, begin mixing the textured compound.
Be sure to tape off the surrounding area. We used Trimaco Self adhering plastic film roll.
Adjust the knob on the back of the gun to your desired finish by making multiple test passes. Once you have matched the textured finish, begin spraying with short sweeping passes, making sure to not to apply too heavy in some areas. Leaving some time for the compound to dry in between coats. The compound will shrink up as it dries and will reveal more of the tiny bumps you see in the texture so be careful not to overspray. After fully curing, the patch was completely undetectable
