Order a Dubai air taxi on Uber

Dubai air taxis operated by @JobyAviation are due to take to the skies by the end of the year carrying commercial passengers - now that's been promised for a while.

But now we know how you'll book them - via the @Uber app. And for some reason, that makes the whole thing feel more real.

To find out more - I went to the launch event, watched a demo flight and spoke to Sarfraz Maredia, Uber's President of Autonomous Mobility & Delivery - who was visiting from the US.

He told me Dubai is ahead of the curve when it comes to transport.
