Afghanistan has been hit by heavy seasonal rains leading to severe flash floods that have wreaked havoc across vast regions.

These sudden floods have inflicted significant damage to residential structures and have led to the catastrophic loss of agricultural lands.

The northern provinces of Afghanistan have been particularly hard-hit, with the floods claiming the lives of numerous individuals.

In the Baghlan province alone, the death toll has tragically risen to at least 50.
