BobsCNC Evolution 4 Spoilboard Surfacing / Resurfacing Instruction - Garrett Fromme

This video refers to the G-code program provided by I.D.C. Woodcraft, available on Etsy to resurface the spoilboard on your BobsCNC Evolution 4 CNC router. It explains how to set up the CNC router and run the G-code program.

It walks you through step by step how to set X, Y & Z zero and what bit you need to use to resurface the spoilboard.

The file discussed here is a plug-and-play G-code file.

Resurfacing the spoilboard is a common practice for 2 reasons. First, CNC routers with spoilboards are routinely not perfectly parallel to the motion of the machine. Second, spoilboards are routinely cut into over time, this requiring resurfacing on occasion.
